Fire Restoration Crew Chief Essential Duties:

  • Work with you team to restore customers' contents, homes and businesses to pre-loss condition after they are affected by fire and smoke damage
  • Lead a team of technicians in cleaning and deodorizing contents and structures affected by soot, water, mold, or other damage using specialized equipment, techniques, and solutions
  • Supervise the inventory of contents, packing and vaulting of customers' belongings, completion of productivity tracking paperwork and daily facility maintenance responsibilities
  • Adhere to policies and procedures regarding remediation, as well as, EPA, OSHA, and local requirements regarding safety and hazardous materials handling.
  • Regularly work Monday-Friday from 12pm-8pm

Water Restoration Crew Chief Essential Duties:

  • Work with you team to provide water mitigation and mold remediation services to clients' homes and businesses to restore them back to pre-loss condition
  • Provide thorough and concise assessment of damaged areas, effective communication of recommended drying protocols, implementation of drying and cleaning procedures, and thorough documentation of the entire project
  • Safely use power and hand tools to complete construction demolition
  • Extract water and sewage from homes and businesses
  • Adhere to policies and procedures as written by our industry, following the IICRC S500 guidelines, as well as, EPA, OSHA, and local requirements regarding safety and hazardous materials handling.
  • Regularly work Tuesday-Saturday 12pm-8pm or Wednesday-Saturday 10am-8pm

As a member of our Emergency Services Team, your Daily Duties will include:

  • Identifying and reporting safety concerns and areas for improvement
  • Coaching team members on their progress and encouraging them to learn every day
  • Communicating with management, team members, and customers to ensure situations are addressed with no surprises
  • Pro-actively gather and share feedback to and from team members
  • Pre-planning crews, equipment, and supplies needed for the efficient completion of next-day services
  • Flexibility to work an occasional weekend
  • Participation in our After-Hours On-Call program

Prior Work Experience:

  • Experience in working in a customer focused, fast paced environment
  • 2-5 years' leadership experience working with diverse crews
  • Restoration or professional cleaning service experience is ideal, but not required
  • Involvement in volunteer/community service work, church, or school activities is a plus


  • Above average verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
  • Ability to obtain a Class E license or equivalent prior to orientation and DOT classification within 90 days
  • Ability to work independently without constant direct supervision
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or greater
  • Basic computer knowledge using Microsoft Office products
  • High school diploma or GED
