Construction Flooring - Apprentice

The Construction Flooring Apprentice will assist the construction tradesmen (Laborers, Remodelers, Carpenters) in restoring homes and businesses to their pre-loss conditions. The Apprentice will learn and master new skills and gain invaluable experience to become a skilled tradesman.

What You'll Do:

• Erect scaffolding and/or ladders
• Communicate with customers to ensure their confidence and satisfaction in the project
• Utilize company technology to update job information and photos
• Follow instructions from supervisor and Project Managers
• Perform a variety of production tasks on jobsites, including jobsite cleaning
• Perform demolition work
• Prepare installation surfaces
• Apply adhesive, grout, or other appropriate materials
• Lay wood, carpeting, tiles, concrete, and other types of flooring
• Ensure that the flooring materials are well-positioned, secure, and clean
• Respond during on-call rotation and emergency rushes

What it takes:

• 1+ year with hand tools
• 1+ year industry, preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Own essential tools
• Current, valid Driver's License
• Ability to obtain and maintain Class E Driver's License within 30 days
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
