Estimator

The Estimator will prepare and negotiate timely, thorough, accurate, compliant cost estimates for construction and emergency services restoration projects using tick sheets, job management notes, MICA, Matterport scans, and/or HOVER; these estimates will provide the basis for project services, cost, timeline, and stakeholder satisfaction.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare estimates in Xactimate, usually without viewing the job site in person
• Visit large loss job sites as required for in person inspection
• Prepare scopes that are thorough, capturing often overlooked details to ensure work can be completed at target Gross Margin rates
• Prepare estimates in keeping with insurance and TPA program rules
• Build credibility with adjusters that expand referral sources and strengthen the negotiation process
• Create budget and completion dates for project execution
• Respond with openness to change orders and supplement requests

What It Takes:

• High School Diploma, required
• Bachelor's degree in management or engineering, preferred
• 3+ years in construction or restoration
• 3+ years Xactimate experience
• Current, valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
