Payroll Accountant

What You'll Do:

• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills in the processing of bi-weekly payroll for 250 employees

• Protect the company by ensuring legal compliance with federal, state and local payroll regulations
• Participate in the forward-looking management of company financial results by preparing and distributing timely reports to the management team such as forecasts of expenses and detailed analyses of expense postings
• Participate in the preparation of company financial statements and in-depth analysis of results by stated deadlines
• Perform various accounting, financial and payroll-related special projects and reports as needed
• Assist with any internal and external audits as necessary

What It Takes:

• BS in Accounting; required
• 2+ years in payroll processing or accounting office duties
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Ability to successfully complete onboarding process to include background check and pre-employment drug screening
