Taper/Painter
A Taper/Painter's primary responsibility is to fulfill the needs of customers by completing construction work on various projects at a high quality level. Taper/Painters who truly excel in the position will become subject matter experts in their related field however there are many more skills needed beyond technical proficiency.
What You'll Do:
- Hang and repair drywall; mud and tape
- Prepare painting surfaces, remove fixtures such as doorknobs and light switch covers
- Apply paint and finishes to various surfaces
- Install cabinets, toilets, and ceiling fans
- Perform a variety of production tasks on jobsites, including jobsite clean-up and fixture replacement
What It Takes:
- 5+ years taping/painting experience
- Reliable transportation
- Own tools
- Current, valid Driver's License
- Ability to obtain and maintain Class E Driver's License within 30 days
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
